Labor Management Board Meeting

The New Mexico Highlands University Labor Management Relations Board will hold a (virtual) meeting on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. The university will comply with the Governor’s Office and the NM Department of Health’s social distancing mandate which limits mass gatherings to five (5) therefore, the LMRB meeting will be held as a virtual meeting only and will make every effort to accommodate members of the public. The items to be addressed at this meeting are time sensitive and cannot wait, thus in accordance with the New Mexico Attorney General’s Open Government Division Advisory, the meeting will be held as a virtual meeting only. 7. Discuss/Review /Action – Respondent’s Motion to Dismiss Petition for Amendment of Certification and Clarification filed on or about June 26, 2020.

8. Discuss/Review /Action – Petition for Amendment of Certification and Clarification of Bargaining Unit filed on or about May 4, 2020.

9. Discuss/Review /Action – House Bill 364 Amending Section 10-7E-10 N.M.S.A. and how it relates to the NMHULMRB

10. Discuss/Review /Action – Retaining a Law Firm to represent and advise the NMHULMRB.

11. Adjournment

The NMHU Labor Management Relations Board may convene in Executive Session to discuss personnel matters, as permitted by Section 10-15-1(H) (2) of the New Mexico Open Meetings Act, NMSA 1978 and matters subject to the attorney client privilege pertaining to threatened or pending litigation in which the NMHU Labor Management Relations Board is or may become a participant, as permitted by Section 10-15-1(H)(7) of the New Mexico Open Meetings Act, NMSA 1978.

The New Mexico Highlands University Labor Management Relations Board will meet on Thursday, February 7, 2019 and Friday, February 8, 2019 beginning at 9:00 a.m. each day, in Student Union Building Governance Room on the main campus, 800 National Avenue, Las Vegas, NM. The purpose of this meeting will be to hold a hearing to take evidence on the appropriateness of a bargaining unit as remanded by the District Court in D-412-CV-2017-00088. The meeting agenda will be available seventy-two (72) hours prior in the Office of University Relations.
