New Mexico Highlands University is currently undergoing a periodic evaluation by our regional accrediting agency, the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Universities. Highlands University has been continuously accredited by the Commission since 1926. As part of the periodic evaluation Highlands has prepared an Assurance Argument demonstrating our ongoing ability to meet the Commissions Criteria for Accreditation. Highlands will also host a visit on September 28th ad 29th with a team representing the Commission.

We encourage everyone to review the Assurance Argument document and to meet with the team.
