Craig Conley, Ph.D.

Dr. Craig Conley comes to the Natural Resource Management program at New Mexico Highlands University after extensive environmental, natural resource management and policy experience in the public and private sectors.  His teaching covers a broad range of resource management disciplines and issues including natural resource economics and policy, soil science and surface hydrology.  His research interests focus on ecological restoration in arid and semi arid systems and the restoration and revitalization of traditional agriculture systems in the southwest. Dr. Conley received his B.A. in biology from the University of California Santa Cruz, an M.S. in energy and resources from UC Berkeley and a Ph.D. in ecology from UC Davis.
