NMHU Choir Concert April 25, 3 p.m. at First Methodist Church

New Mexico Highlands’ El Coro de Tierra Alta presents “Mozart and More,” at the First Methodist Church on the corner of 8th and National, April 25 at 3 p.m. 

 

The concert will feature Mozart’s Missa Brevis in F and the Misericoridas Domini, Haydn’s Missa Brevis St. Joannis de Deo, and Pergolesi’s Magnificat. The concert will be directed by Andre Garcia-Nuthmann with Linda King on organ and piano and will feature members of the Santa Fe Symphony and New Mexico Symphony Orchestra. Soloists include Karlis de Marcos, soprano, Stephanie Salas, alto, Joseph Chavez, tenor and Devin Barad on bass.

Tickets are $10 for the general public, and $5 for Highlands’ faculty and staff, seniors 65 and older, and children under 10. All Highlands’ students with ID are free, along with other students with school ID.
