Luis Ortiz earned his B.B.A. and M.B.A. in business administration from New Mexico Highlands University and his Ph.D. in both management and international business from the University of Texas-Pan American. His area of teaching interests include international management, organizational behavior, human resource management, international business, principles of management, management information systems, economic development and entrepreneurship, organizational leadership, and training and development of human resources. Research interests include cross-cultural management, organizational citizenship behavior, organizational justice, and employee relations. He is a member of the Academy of Management, Academy of International Business and the Business Association of Latin American Studies.
