PHASE 1 – NEEDS ASSESSMENT & MARKETING
2/4-2/17 – RHPerry team conducts pre-search study,
2/13 – RHPerry team submits final search timeline to committee chair and hiring authority
2/14 – RHPerry team provides draft profile to Search Committee Chair and hiring authority for final approval
2/17 – Hiring authority provides final, approved profile to RHPerry team
2/19 – Profile is posted to institutional website and www.rhperry.com; advertising is placed
2/20 – First Search Committee meeting
PHASE 2 – RECRUITMENT STRATEGY & CANDIDATE MANAGEMENT
2/19-3/26 – RHPerry team recruits/develops candidate pool; begins identification of top candidates and performs due diligence
3/26 – Due date for applications
3/31 – Search Committee receives access to Client Resource Center (CRC) & begins review of candidate materials
PHASE 3 – SELECTION & EVALUATION
4/10 – 1:00-3:00 p.m. – RHPerry team meets with Search Committee to review candidate pool and select semi-finalist candidates
4/15 & 4/17 – Search Committee conducts zoom semi-finalist interviews and selects finalist candidates
PHASE 4 – DUE DILIGENCE & CAMPUS INTERVIEWS
4/18-5/1 – RHPerry team conducts intensive finalist due diligence
5/1-5/8 – Finalist candidate interviews (one to two days per finalist)
PHASE 5 – APPOINTMENT & CLOSURE
TBD – RHPerry team meets with search committee to review finalist candidates and prepare report for hiring authority
TBD – The hiring authority selects the preferred candidate and extends offer
TBD – The selected candidate assumes office
