Las Vegas, N.M. – A photography show titled “Dagger and Cathedral” featuring portraits and landscapes of the Republic of Georgia opens in the Ray Drew Gallery Jan. 18.
Stuart Gelzer, the photographer, will be at the opening reception Jan. 20 from 4 – 6 p.m.
Gelzer’s photography spans four decades and four continents. His work of the American Southwest and the Republic of Georgia are represented at the 2Ten Gallery in Las Vegas, New Mexico.
Gelzer is also a screenwriter and film editor. In addition, he is a singer specializing in the folk music of the Republic of Georgia.
“Dagger and Cathedral” continues through through Feb. 19. in the Ray Drew Gallery. It is on the first floor of the university’s Donnelly Library, 802 National Ave. The gallery is open Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday from 1 – 5 p.m.
