Las Vegas, N.M – The RJE Comedy Cabaret Tour performs Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. in Highlands University’s historic Ilfeld Auditorium, 900 University Ave.

RJE Comedy Cabaret Tour is the largest and highest grossing college comedy tour in the country. The university’s Office of Campus Life is sponsoring the show to kick off spring semester for the campus and community.

The comedy show may contain adult language and content. Viewer discretion is advised.

Lav Luv will host the night of comedy and is one of the featured acts.

Luv launched his professional stand-up comedy career while serving in the United States military and has performed for three seasons of Black Entertainment Television’s “Comic View.” He is a host of Atlanta’s Uptown Comedy Corner and has been featured in HBO’s Def Comedy Jam.

Luv’s jokes range from socioeconomic and politically correct issues to the ambiance of relationships and racially provocative thoughts. Luv is known for his smooth delivery and no-holds-barred approach on stage.

Nema Williams is the featured headliner for the show. The young entertainer is considered one of comedy’s rising stars with a delivery style that is clever, energetic, thought provoking, and uproariously funny.

Williams has performed on Comedy Central’s “Comic Groove” and has been a headliner for RJE Comedy Cabaret Tour for the last five years. He was featured in several feature films, including “If You Were My Girl” starring Nick Cannon and “Out on Parole” starring Tony Roberts.

General admission tickets are $5. Highlands University students, faculty and staff are free with valid HU ID. Other students and seniors are $3. Children 10 and younger are free if they are with a paying adult.
