Audree Urioste, a Highlands history freshman, helps paint the homecoming horse, which will lead the Homecoming 2019 parade Sept. 21. Denise Davenport, operations manager for both Sodexo, the university’s food service, and the campus bookstore, took the lead in organizing the painting of the horse. Davenport praised the campus-wide effort from students and staff who worked together to paint the horse, calling it inspirational teamwork. She said nearly every department on campus is symbolized in the horse’s design.
