The social work program at Albuquerque offers both the B.S.W. and M.S.W. degrees as well as a joint M.S.W./M.B.A. program. The program offers two program concentrations: clinical practice and government nonprofit management. The dual degrees M.S.W./M.B.A. program is offered to students seeking admission into the two-year M.S.W. program.

Our program has been in operation in the Albuquerque area since 1992. We have established positive working relationships with a multitude of public and private human service agencies in Albuquerque area, which provide student internships. An average of 200 students are enrolled each academic year. Approximately 60 percent attend on a full-time basis and 40 percent are part-time students who have full-time jobs and other family responsibilities. The flexibility of our class schedule allows students to attend the program without sacrificing family or employment responsibilities.

The flexible class schedule for both programs affords students the opportunity to attend on a full-time or part-time basis. Classes are offered during the day, evenings and weekends. Students may choose to attend either full time days, full-time evenings or a combination of both day and evenings or may attend on a part-time basis.

The proximity of the city, close to over five Indian Pueblos and other rural communities, provides students the opportunity to work with diverse populations in both rural and urban settings.
