STEAMM Day Camp
Thank you for your interest — please check back with us in 2022!
2021 STEAMM three-day outdoor science day camp with Conservation Science Center @ HU (CSC@HU)
Join us July 20-22 at the Conservation Science Center @ HU’s inaugural science, technology, engineering, art, music, and math (STEAMM) camp!
STEAMM is an outdoor day-camp celebrating water science, fishing, nature, art, local culture, and fresh-air activities. Spend three days around New Mexico’s rivers learning to fly fish, exploring nature-based art, and examining critters that make our waterways healthy.
Local youth (and future river stewards!) will immerse themselves in water science, water science, art, and music while experiencing the joy of the outdoors and having fun at local state and river parks.
CSC@HU invests in New Mexico youth as the solution to natural resource challenges affecting the Southwest. Our 2021 STEAMM camp will celebrate science, the environment, culture, and querencia — the love of place in Northern New Mexico.
Participants who have completed grades 6, 7, or 8 are welcome. Local youth from San Miguel and Mora counties are especially encouraged to register. Enrollment is capped at 18, and preference will be given to those who can attend all three days.
Sanitation and safety measures will be in place to ensure the wellbeing of all participants.
STEAMM camp 2021 is full! Registration is now closed.
