A High Wind Warning and Red Flag Warning have been issued for Las Vegas and surrounding areas until 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 6. As a precaution, the NMHU Las Vegas Campus will be closed Thursday at 10 a.m. for the remainder of the day. All classes have been also canceled through the end of the day, including asynchronous and all NMHU centers (Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, and Farmington).

Students Turn Out For Rez Fest Carnival in Melody Park

Highlands University student Krystol Myers wows the crowd April 23 at the university’s Rez Fest Carnival in Melody Park, winning first place in the dance competition. Myers, a psychology sophomore from Jamaica, is an assistant resident assistant in the Viles and Crimmins Residence Hall and is also president of the HU Dance Club. The university’s Office of Housing and Student Conduct sponsored the well-attended event.
