NMHU Advancement

The mission of the New Mexico Highlands University Foundation is to provide support to benefit students of the University and the University as a whole through the acquisition, development and administration of financial and other resources.

The Foundation & Alumni Engagement Offices are located across the street from Ilfeld Auditorium in the Mass Communications Building (MASS-COMM) at 901 University Ave., Las Vegas, NM.  The Foundation Business Office and Kennedy Gallery is located within Kennedy Hall at 905 University Ave, Las Vegas, NM.

University Relations

The Office of University Relations oversees external and internal communications for New Mexico Highlands University. It supervises the university’s public image, including design standards, publications, news, multimedia content, web content, and communications. The University Relations office also includes NMHU’s Government Relations office.

University Relations aids news media, government agencies, and the public seeking information about the university. It also serves all NMHU communities via news information services, marketing, and branding.

Its mission is to build and strengthen relationships with the University’s constituencies and encourage investment in and support for NMHU, its programs, and its initiatives.

New Mexico Highlands’ Office of Advancement and University Relations’ mission is to disseminate relevant information about the university to external and internal audiences, promote collaboration between the university and external organizations, and support the overall mission, vision and goals of the university.
