Davina Morris, left, Diné College career specialist, and Amy Garfield, Diné College freshman, share a light moment while touring the Highlands University campus Sept. 24. Fifteen students and five staff members from the Navajo Nation two-year college visited Highlands to learn more about what the university has to offer. They met with President Jim Fries, Dean of Students Fidel Trujillo, Native American Services Coordinator Robert Romero, students from the Native American Club, and staff from the Academic Support Office and Career Services Office. Alejandra Roa, a student ambassador from the Recruitment Office, led the campus tour. The main campus for Diné College is in Saile, Ariz. The college encompasses five other sites, including ones in Shiprock, New Mexico, and Crownpoint, New Mexico.
