Two New Highlands University Regents Sworn In
Two new regents for New Mexico Highlands University were sworn in at the Board of Regents meeting, March 30.  New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez appointed Frank Marchi to the board of regents along with student regent Caitlin Syner.
 
“I’m very pleased with Governor Martinez’s appointments, as both Marchi and Syner have the leadership skills and commitment to Highlands that will move the university forward,” said Highlands University President Jim Fries. Click Here to Read More

Zias Sweep Cowgirls in Non-Conference ActionCowgirls Take RMAC Lead in Five Events
Carissa Alexander highlighted a host of good performances as the Highlands University women's track and field team opened the outdoor season at the Springtime Invitational hosted by the University of Texas-El Paso on Saturday March 26. Cowgirl Basketball Gives Back to Las Vegas
The Highlands Cowgirl basketball team has been busy since the end of the season. The Cowgirls have been actively involved in community service in Las Vegas. 2011 Cowboys Set to Start Spring Drills
Highlands football kicks off their 2011 Spring Drills on 3/28. The Cowboys first year head coach Eric Young and staff are ready to hit the field with their Cowboys and begin a new era of Cowboy Football. The Cowboys will suit up for eleven practices culminating with the Spring Showcase on 4/16 starting at 2 p.m. Coach Young has brought in a very experienced staff that has worked at all levels and is very excited about taking the reins of the Cowboy Football program.  Click Here to Read More
