Health, Community, Indigenous Foods and Herbs in Northern New Mexico

Students will depart on a HU bus and meet others at Rio Mora Conservation Science Center. Dr. Cajete will lead a walk through this bio-diverse area identifying regional plants and herbs. He will share his knowledge and wisdom of plant ecology, about the Rio Mora area, medicinal and edible plants, uses for art forms and the possibilities of transforming one’s own wellness pathway. (Limited to 20 participants.)
