OUT OF THE DARKNESS

Join HU-CARES and Housing & Student Conduct for the 2nd annual “OUT OF THE DARKNESS” 5k glow-run for suicide awareness month. The first 100 participants to pre-register by September 22 to corilia@nmhu.edu, or call 505-454-3529, will secure a free event t-shirt. For a $2 donation participants will receive thank you gift bags, glow sticks,and be able to strike a pose for an event photo shoot. Runners, walkers, and joggers are invited to commemorate families that have been impacted by suicide, and to bring hope to those who struggle with thoughts of suicide. Suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death for college aged students, and we want to change this. We invite you all to be beacons of light and love to those who are healing. Sign-in starts at 6:30pm in the Student Union Building on 8th and National. The Las Vegas community is welcome to participate.
