Highlands University Honors 14 at Retirement Reception June 16

New Mexico Highlands University honored 14 retiring staff members at a reception June 16.

“You represent almost 300 years of committed service to the university and that’s really phenomenal,” said Highlands University President Jim Fries at the reception. “It’s a privilege to represent the university community in saying thank you.
“Institutions don’t make things happen, people do. And it’s people who stay long enough to make a difference, like these retirees today. We will miss each and every one of you,” Fries said.
