Highlands is a great place to study art!
In addition to our proximity to two world-renowned art markets, Santa Fe and Taos, the Art Program at New Mexico Highlands is home to two biannual conferences, Iron Tribe and Print, Printed, Printing, that attract working artists from around the globe. Our students find they have ample opportunity to display their work both on campus and around the Las Vegas area. We have fully equipped printmaking, jewelry, and ceramic studios as well as a state-of-the-art foundry. Highlands also provides personal studio space for advanced students. We also have one of the lowest reported tuition rates in the United States.
