Cody Rivera
Cody Rivera was born and raised in Las Vegas, New Mexico. He is a proud second-generation college student who loves to spend time outdoors hunting, fishing, and hiking.
Rivera is a sophomore at New Mexico Highlands University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. He aspires to pursue a law degree beyond his bachelor’s. He has served as the Parliamentarian within New Mexico Highlands University’s Student Senate.
Rivera graduated as a Cardinal scholar from Robertson High School and was an active member of the High Country 4-H Club. Outside of school, Rivera possesses an entrepreneurial spirit that recently led him to acquire his first rental property and is the Property Manager for his family’s real estate business since 2019. He is a contributing partner in the Mossy Pine Rentals, LLC.
In his younger years, Cody assisted his father in his welding business. He is an accomplished welder and is able to operate heavy equipment. When Rivera graduates, he aspires to continue his education into law school and serve his local community in a governmental leadership capacity.
