New Mexico Highlands University provides numerous free services through The Center for Professional Development and Career Readiness to assist employers in their recruiting efforts for all academic departments. Our career fairs do require registration fees.

The Center for Professional Development and Career Readiness customizes your recruiting experience to your needs whether you want to post a job or visit campus to conduct interviews or information sessions. Highlands University is a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) and follows its Principles of Professional Conduct with regard to career development and employment practices.

The Center for Professional Development and Career Readiness will post your job opportunities (internships, summer employment and research programs, part-time jobs, cooperative education, and career opportunities) on our webpage, bulletin boards and send to the respective academic departments. Career/Job Fairs

Wednesday, February 10, 2021 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The fall career fair was so successful that we are doing a spring fair for the first time ever! Registration for students and alumni is open for the Spring 2021 Virtual Career Fair on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Must have a Handshake account to participate.

Over 31 employers have already registered, with 35 group and 305 individual sessions to choose from on the day of the event. Don’t delay — register today!

Our events invite diverse employers/organizations to promote their summer jobs, internships, careers and graduate school opportunities to our students and alumni in a variety of fields including business, social work, healthcare, sciences/STEM, liberal arts, media arts, and social/behavioral sciences.

Employer Information Sessions

We will schedule your career information sessions in available rooms, actual classes, and/or information tables set up in student traffic areas on campus. Faculty Connections
